Quoted from JoshODBrown:Is Stern assembling these games?
No. CGC built an assembly line to make these.

No. CGC built an assembly line to make these.

Quoted from ToucanF16:I would say because of too much licensing.
One license, Universal. Who seem to be easy to work with.

Quoted from Atari_Daze:What am I missing?
A chance to have a brand new game that isn't 20 years old.
Great for pinball. Great for AFM fans. May not be for everybody, but these will sell well.

Quoted from Zitt:I suspect by TPF... a large number of us will be very disappointed in the pricing.
No.
Quoted from Zitt:Its really the only reason why they didn't provided pricing with the hype train in my opinion.
PPS/CGC didn't make this announcement.

Quoted from o-din:Not sure, but didn't the originals have a slightly beveled edge around those holes?
No. And like the original, that spot needs a Cliffy.
LTG : )
Quoted from o-din:The original had to go near 15 years without one.
Way quicker than that. Balls kicking out and rolling in ( which was the main wear issue on MB's kickout ) showed up right away on my AFM with the diamond plate chipping.

Quoted from Pahuffman:Who will be doing the manufacturing?
Chicago Gaming made an assembly line just for this.

Quoted from kidchrisso:Why didn't they put the buildings on the back board..was that not origional?
No. Prototype had the outerspace and spaceships and planets. Production was just the black wall.

Quoted from hank527:Why is Rick the way he is?
I can't speak for Rick.
But if I read through over 300 posts ( on one of several threads ) of people bitching and attacking something I was trying to accomplish. And so much information that is wrong. I'd probably be a little testy too.

Quoted from beelzeboob:I think the classic model looks great...just like the original, and it allows people to mod a new version of a classic game to their liking.
Bingo !

Quoted from jalpert:if the price was what we wanted to hear it would have been announced already.
This wasn't the PPS/CGC announcement, someone posted photos. That is yet to come. And I do believe it will be in line with what people want to hear.

Quoted from Chosen_S:Are there any pics of under the playfield??
bigd1979's post #1979 in this thread.

Quoted from Chosen_S:Wait a sec, there's not that many posts yet
Crap, I used last part of his Pinside moniker.
Try #1078
Sorry.

Quoted from Damien:So CGC will be giving reseller an estimated date come June, but from there, how long do you guys think it will take to actually start shipping them out to the shops?
They'll be rolling by then, as in games coming down the line. So they'll be able to let resellers know when they games they ordered will arrive.
If you looked at the pictures, you saw games on the line. It takes a little bit to train new people, check every part and be sure it is assembled right. They'll be picking up speed as they go.
