Sorry to ask such a noobish question, but here goes:

I got a set of green Titan rubbers, and went to put them on today. There are a couple that I'm finding especially hard to get to without removing ramps.

The dumb question: Are the screws at the bottom of the Tractor Beam ramp just biting into wood, or is there a nut of some sort underneath? I am VERY nervous about removing anything that is lagged in, and those screws look pretty easily damaged to boot.

If so, what's the safest way to get them out? I figure I've got to be missing something, replacing rubbers shouldn't involve repairing wood.

Thanks!

Quoted from pintechev:

They are into the wood only. They are small #6 wood screws. You need a really, really hard tip philips #2 bit and a lot of downward pressure. If they strip a little coming out, you should be able to replace them at a local hardware store.
Marc

Good to know, I will proceed accordingly.

Thanks very much!

Hi all -

Tonight I noticed that my main saucer lights are not working at all (LE). In the test menu, the "Saucer LED test" looks like it's working, but none of the lights on the saucer illuminate, either in automatic or manual mode.

What I have tried:

- Re-seating the connector at J14 (labeled "Saucer"),
- Re-seated the 9-pin Molex connector that comes out of the back of the saucer assembly,
- Re-seated the 2-pin Molex connector that is in teh same bundle.

Any thoughts before I open a ticket with CGC?

Thanks!

-Michael
