Aside from occasional crazy airballs, I am having no issues (AFMr-0196 Aug 2017).

I had the flippers turned down to -8, but returned to DEFAULT at CGC recommendation. I am not clear I actually noticed any difference, which seems to align with their finding.

My Issues (SOLVED):

(1) I did have an issue couple months ago - one of the topper saucer flashers was stuck ON (dimly) when supposed to be OFF. CGC promptly diagnosed and replaced the topper controller. All is good again.

(2) More recently, I was seeing a "Diverter Stuck Open" error message. Lloyd assisted and suggested playing thru to reset the switch counters - did not help. I diagnosed and re-flowed the coil solder joints, and reset the Connector/Pins on J120. Problem solved.

Userlogo

Quoted from Dodgey:Question about replacing the Bally logo with custom logo.
When i went to load my custom logo there was already a very cool alien face as a second option.
If I replace this logo with new custom logo will it be erased?

There can only be a single userlogo.bmp at a time. I think you'll lose the currently loaded logo when you insert the new one, unless you've got a copy of that file on your PC...

On the Diverter issue, from the manual:

1. Confirm it is actually "stuck" open. Can you manually open/close the diverter?

2. The err is cleared when the machine counts (4) consecutive shots to the correct side of the diverter

With the glass off, try manually rolling the ball over & under the switches/optos in the diverter ramp chain, at least (4) times:

(62) - C Ramp Enter
(65) - R Ramp Exit
(17) - R Return - probably not a factor
(36) - L Popper Opto
(78) - C Trough

If the err does not clear, test the individual switches noted above to see if any report an error.

On my machine, I had a "Diverter Stuck Closed" message. The tests noted above DID NOT clear the error for me.

My solution:

1. I reflowed the solder joints on the diverter coil - they looked a little funky

2. I removed connector J120, checked each pin was seated properly, then re-seated the connector itself.

Result - Error cleared and did not return.

I had the same issue with my drop bank. I posted a possible solution somewhere around here. Let me find it and post the link.

Found it: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/attack-from-mars-remake-afmr-owners-club/page/13#post-3963410

If you flip up the playfield, you can see the source of the slop. Adding the padding as described above, provides a little resistance and holds the bank a little more horizontal, though not quite perfect every time.

Let me know if you find any other ideas...
