I've got a newly built (December 17') SE with the following issues on an open ticket:

-Skill shot on launch not making orbit. Have since bent ramp and realigned plunger, now about 90% working.
-Numerous air balls and a majority of the lock shots were jumping out of the right return and either draining or landing in the launch lane. Flipper strength does not significantly change these issues, and I see no apparent difference in results with different flipper settings. Have since set it back to default and await a fix.
-Drop target had a downward tilt to the right when down, also when up. Tweaked the adjustment screws from the underside to fix the tilt when down, but it still has a tilt when it's up. Functions fine, just looks off. From my newbie perspective, the black plastic pieces that make up this mechanism have too much slop between them.

I too have this issue, and in fact filed a ticket w/CGC. They sent me a new target bank assembly, but I'm having the same result with the new parts. I tried the foam padding suggestion, but no noticeable improvement. I think its just a bad design with the slop in the pieces. The metal shaft that goes into the molded oval in the drop bank sits just left of center when the target is up, causing it to dip to the right. I think that is that source of the problem. CGC's position is that this is the same design as the original AFM and these are the same exact parts. I guess I just need to get used to it as it is. I too would be interested if anyone else has other ideas.
