I was playing last night and this rattled loose into the right orbital lane, right next to the pop bumpers. Can anyone show me where this attaches? I don't see anywhere obvious and would like to have a plan before I start pulling things apart.

Sounds like the center trough switch isn't registering consistently. Raise the playfield and check the microswitch for the center trough. Make sure it isn't catching/hanging up on either side of the slot and raise it vertically if possible, just so that the switch sits a bit higher in the slot. There are screws on the side of the switch that make vertical adjustment pretty easy.

This is how mine looked when it came off the truck. Heart sink moment. Got lucky though, it was just the dead space in the box above the head that got mashed a bit. Machine was totally fine.

If you mean rattle from the speaker panel specifically, I used this solution and it worked pretty well.

I actually thought my speaker was blown as well. Installed a replacement and then realized what was going on.
