Has anyone had a problem with the lockdown bar moving on the game? With it locked down, the bar is moving forward and backward a little on the left side. Any suggestions?

I am new to buying pinball machines about 2 months ago. I bought a swle about 2 months ago and have not done anything to it. No major issues. The ball on hyperloop will sometimes fly up on last loop and there have been some software glitches where i have completed a mission, but machine doesnt think so and ruins the game. I just got afm remake le 4 days ago. I like the game so far. I do have the problem where the ball doesnt make it all the way up on launch probably 10-20 percent of the time. Since i am casual player i will leave it alone. In addition, i have no clue what i am doing and probably would break it. I did put my own machines together and changed settings and can take off the glass, update code, etc. I had no clue what cliffys were until today reading today. I dont think i would attempt to put those on. Is it me or is it normal that i cant control the ball well on the flippers on attack from mars like i can on star wars?
I noticed while playing today and yesterday the ball would take 4-5 attempts to pop out of the hole after getting into ufo or ball lock. I tightened the metal hexagonal piece that sits next to the black metal piece where ball comes out of and it fixed problem 95 percent of time, but still can take 2 attempts for ball to come out sometimes. Is this normal/okay?
I am sometimes getting 4 balls on the multiball mode to obtain jackpot/super jackpot? I thought you are only supposed to get 3 balls. Amyone else experience this?
Quoted from MrSanRamon:I was playing a game, had a couple extra balls and finished my second multi-ball when all the balls finally drained.
When the next ball started, the game was not playing like it should feature wise, then I realized instead of being in ball 3, I was in ball 1 of a new game and the score was reset.
Has anyone had that happen to them?
Robert
Yes. A bunch of times with my kids. At times, if you hit the start button while in the middle of a game it will start a new game.
I have had my pinball machine 2 months. Looked closely today. Has wood chipping to the right and left of mothership hole. Sol looks okay.
Never had topper or flipper issues. Placed the new pic2 last week but the flipper strength feels no different. Had ramp issue but fixed that. Should i add mylar or go right to cliffys?
Quoted from Higloss67:I had the same chipping and installed Cliffy’s. Not sure about Mylar at this point.
I went on website to buy cliffys and you have to email him to purchase cliffys. Is that correct or am i missing something?
I have had my LE for about 2 months. I had shooter lane issue and fixed it. Had the popper issue where it took multiple times for ball to pop up. Fixed that. No flipper issues. I did do the PIC 2 chip installation. I have talked to Doug multiple times. The latest was about the chipping I have on right and left of hole of ufo ship. His basic take over the phone was this will happen over time and if you want to protect your machine get cliffys. I told him I already had them on order. I told him that in future they should consider putting cliffys on all the machines. He stated that the purists wouldn't like that. I said to him that put cliffys on so many machines (maybe 80%) and leave the rest without for the purists. He stated that it would too much of a logistical problem for distributors/sellers. I think it is BS. When I told him that a full set of cliffys was $110 and he thought that was a lot. I don't think 1.5% of price of machine to protect is too much, but they should do that for us. In regards for having a wrong colored play field, that should be an automatic replacement. Too me, that is a DEFECT in manufacturing. As of now, probably wouldn't buy another chicago gaming machine unless people on this forum state that there defective playfields are replaced. My star wars LE has had zero problems and I don't see any chipping. Having incomplete code is not ideal, but it is of greater importance not to have a defective machine. I feel like stern is trying to make improvements in their coding staff and are very responsive to defects according to a lot of posts i have read. Maybe I would consider Jersey Jack for next machine.
I cant find where to adjust strobe lighting in adjusments. Can someone tell me which number in adjustments it is? Thanks
Quoted from mrs_mezelmods:Hi there- just completed another batch of Eat at Eddy's. I'm trying to gauge interest in another batch before Christmas- this one sold out quickly.
Let me know if you were hoping to get one and didn't.
I didnt get one and they are sold out.
Quoted from stavio:Eddy's in the house. I'm not a big mod guy but this thing looks awesome and was easy to install

Anything to know about installing eat at eddys mod? I have a afmr le. Just follow instructions on mezelmods, or is there something special i have to do?
I installed the eat at eddy’s mod today on my afmrle. I did a video install if anyone needs help. I always think videos help.
Quoted from hollywood:Nice to see the video for a reference....but you don't have to take out the light. As per instructions on the Mezel website, just push the black tab and remove the connector from the GI. I hate removing wood screws when I don't have to.
I had this mod before I had my AFMLE. Only mod needed!
Your right. I guess i missed that part.
Quoted from BOBCADE:Joined the club today, love it. Do have a question for some help, the left upkicker sometimes takes multiple attempts to make it up. My pitch is 7.0 and perfectly level, the settings are default with flippers -3 and jets max. Is there a setting for the large left vuk?

This was a problem for a lot of people when it first came out. The fix was under the playfield bending the mechanism gently to the right under playfield. To align it better.
Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:So, after evaluating everything, I'm offering my interactive illuminated flipper mod kit for $50 including US shipping. I will want a minimum of 5 commitments before I'm willing to take orders (I have to buy many of the items in bulk to make the kit). After the initial 5, I will need commitments in increments of 5 to fulfill subsequent orders. Please reply to this post if you are in, and if we hit at least 5 by the end of the weekend then payment will be required and I'll begin production.
Kit will include everything you need to illuminate both flipper buttons and will interact with the speaker lights:
- Power splitter to tap into speaker lighting
- Cabling from the backbox to the cabinet
- Splitter in cabinet to left & right extension cables
- 2x Extension cables
- 2x Interface to LED strips
- 2x LED strips (3 SMD each)
- 2x 3D printed LED strip adhesive mounts
- 2x Transparent flipper buttons with springs
I will also create step-by-step directions for installation. There will be no modification of the pin or its wiring required.[quoted image]
I am in!
Quoted from Gogdog:I believe you have to hit the launch button when you hit a ramp and the "cow" voiceover line comes on. The line is different for each ramp. I think for the left ramp its just "MOOOO!"...
I believe to be able to get cows on the video mode you have to hit the right and left ramp each separately and have the cow appear on the screen and hit launch button a bunch of times and you will hear moo when you hit button. I dont believe one ramp by itself will do it.
