I just noticed last night that there are hairline cracks in the coloration in the return lane covers. Anyone else seeing this? I didn't notice it on any of the other plastics, but these you see all the time... I haven't touched these at all, so it isn't from me overtightening the nuts or something screwy like that.

It took me a few days to open a case for mine, but once I did that they were very responsive and a new pair of return lane plastics are on their way to me. Nice!

I installed the new software, and the strobe is certainly brighter. I haven't had a chance to play a game in the dark yet, but even in a dim room with indirect window light the new adjustments make quite a difference. I have mine one step below Max for now, and it seems good. I don't have an original AFM to compare with though. Last I checked, there were about 300 plays on mine and no mechanical issues yet, SOL hole looks great still with the stock protector on it.

I removed my backbox as well to get it through a narrow spot without dragging against anything. Wasn't much to getting the backbox off and back on...

There's always one bomb that you can use against the saucers in video mode, you don't have to earn it. The Martian Bomb that you can earn is to credit a hit against the martians when they are bouncing if you hit the launch button.

CGC should evaluate which shippers damage the most often, and not use those companies.

I'm in as well for at least one set. 2 sets if it'll work in MBrLE also (which I'd think it would).

If you are playing it, you won't even see the coin slots.

My AFMrSE is probably the most played game in my collection, just because it is that much fun and doesn't really get old. The MBrLE is still getting quite a bit of play since it is still new to us. The light show is amazing on it, and the playfield, toys are beautiful, callouts and music are great. I do see it starting to lose its attraction since it is relatively easy to get far, but AFM isn't really a huge challenge to get through Attack Mars - though Rule the Universe can be a challenge and is still highly rewarding when someone gets through it.

If I had to choose between AFMr and MBr - I'd probably keep the AFMr just because it has more staying power.

3D Translite fits perfectly on my AFMr Premium.

I think it looks great, but I’m sure it is all personal preference. Some may not like it, but if you like having your game be different, it does set it apart.
