Mine was dead perfect outta the box, other than a couple preference tweaking it has been great. This is my only nib that needed nothing lol
It seems there's a very critical eye towards CGC, adjusting a launch position is really that big of a deal? If Stern had the minor issues that VERY FEW of the CGC games seem to have they'd be hailed as the best built machines ever lol
Quoted from abetterway:I don't think you are trying to insult the second group, are you?
Do you really think there are people with such limited skills that they cannot use a screwdriver and add a washer? This issue here is not that they cannot do it, it's that they should not have to.
This is a Limited Edition $8,000 game. I for one didn't expect to have to modify the game as soon as I pulled it from the box. That appears to be an incorrect assumption and to be expected in this line of business. I will have to deal with that going forward.
This is a mechanical machine that relies upon all physical attributes to be 100% true to one another to operate perfectly, the smallest tweak in building, packaging, shipping, etc. can change the overall dynamic greatly. I'd assume that all would need minor adjustments out of the box and yes moving a wire form slightly or using a screwdriver is minor.
Quoted from LTG:There are two optos on the flipper button opto boards. Please go to Tests - Switch Edge - and slowly push the flipper button in. First one and then the second one should report on the screen.
If both optos work, then check it's fuse in the head. F115, if that is good, then check the coil lugs for poor solder joints.
