Quoted from charliex:I just bought an AFM Remake SE for $9k today. Am I crazy? [quoted image]
Maybe, but not because of that.
Loving my AFMR, but sometimes I wish it had a door-mounted volume control. Has anyone successfully installed one of the after-market ones?
Quoted from pinballinreno:Pinnovators has had one for some time now
Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:You can see my full write up of the Pinpac 7 here
Thanks, guys - just ordered the Roto-MAC.
Quoted from Medic:Is it recommended to remove the topper when transporting the game in your vehicle?
My LE went 9 miles in a truck folded down with topper in place with no issues.
Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:I had an issue occur yesterday that I don't know if it was a fluke or a documented issue/bug. I was in total annihilation multi-ball with the forcefield down and destroyed the last saucer before destroying it and advancing to destroy Mars. The game didn't stop and play the normal animation for advancing to destroy mars but the forcefield raised as normal and I kept playing until multi-ball finished.
Once multi-ball was over I was able to hit all 3 targets and lower the forcefield (this occurred while still playing the remaining ball from multi-ball and after draining and launching a new ball). At this point, I kept hitting the saucer target over and over, but the destruction of Mars animation never occurred. I did this well over 10 times (probably close to 20) but nothing ever changed. The drop target would drop, my ball would go down the chute, and it was returned to the flippers via the left wireframe.
Very frustrating as a I had really nice game going (I actually set my high score even with this bug), and only had one achievement left before advancing to RTU (which still eludes me).
That's normal - just as there's no saucer-exploding animation if you complete an attack wave during any multiball, there's no animation if you advance to (or finish) Destroy Mars during a multiball. You do still get the points, though.
Quoted from JohnTTwo:Set replay levels, set awards as extra ball.
Your game, your rules, Rule that Universe Bitch!!!!
I have only done it once, but have had the chance several times and just could not get enough points
Pay attention to the Super Jackpot shot during RTU. Also, the SJ value increases, depending on how many times you've scored it _before_ RTU.
