Yeah I agree the build quality is very good and plays great out of the box.
Quoted from woody76:Stopped by my buddies house and played his LE last night. Played like a dream and looks amazing. Topper, black trim, playfield clear coat was like glass with no dimples. I will be picking one up asap.
Dimples will come...trust me, he hasn't played it enough...
Ok...my green LE coming next week....who's been playing with Titan colors for this machine? Think I saw some grey flippers earlier, any other thoughts, pics yet?
Think that, PDI, and some underglow may be all this bad boy needs.....

rock customs has a awesome interactive under cab lighting kit.
Quoted from rooftop:rock customs has a awesome interactive under cab lighting kit.
Agreed ...I know Chris pretty well ( great guy), and we've done some creative lighting in the past ( sorting through BM66 at the moment)
Mainly curious on rubber colors that have been tried already on this machine....

Specific to AFMr? Been wondering what AFM mods will work on AFMr...

yes specific to afmr
Quoted from Rolls-Royce:Congratulations MK6PIN! Excellent !!!
Got about 10 games in today (always leave them in my office to play for a couple weeks before bringing home and putting in lineup)...the game is absolutely stunning visually, amazing gameplay, very, very solid!!!! The saucers and topper are truly more than what I expected...
This game surpasses my expectations x1000...played an original several times on location...this is a different animal!!!! great job, CGC!!!!!!
Quoted from sparechange1974:Where do I find the Strobe multiball adjustment? I'm version 1.1
Do you mean to make the strobe light brighter or dimmer ?
You aren't on version 1.1, you hit the enter button and that number is from the Williams software.
Hold the escape button for 5 seconds or so to get into the CGC menu, keep hitting the escape button once you are in there to advance to the next screen. The 5th screen, bottom, is to change the strobe light.
The first screen shows what software is in your game. 1.0.0. , if you need it, here is the link of what you need :

Congratulations!

Just what I was looking for!
Thanks
Quoted from EricHadley:We've had ours almost 2 weeks and have more than 250 plays on it! We love it
Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. With so many machines, to get that many plays on one machine, machine must be good!
113 in. No topper though. Looks like they forgot to include the head keys, so I can't install it.
On top of that, the door keys had a severely bent one that broke when I tried to bend it back.
Not without its issues, but a fantastic game. Sound and lights are over the top.

The back box key is on the inside of the coin door on a hook. You only get one.
Quoted from bigdaddy07:That is one bad ass topper.
It is truly a badass machine on several levels!!!...I've been blown away by this thing...hard to describe...a mix of early dmd game " feel", w modern tech, and a blast to play.....
Martian jumping up and down on the topper scared the shit out of me the first time it happened....
Quoted from bigdaddy07:That is one bad ass topper.
I'll be..... omg... I almost cried when I saw that pic with the topper ...so beautiful.
Really impressed with CGC from the packaging to the final product. Pallet made out of high end wood along with topper box, legs packed at bottom and extra card board and Styrofoam used to keep game safe through transit. Really big improvements since Medieval first came out. I was worried the mirror blades would have scratches or get scratches eventually and this play field slides in and out of this cabinet so nicely that there's no worries.
Can really tell CGC has raised the bar on the manufacturing now that it's in house-Cabinet feels a bit more solid than MMr as well. Either way, very happy.
Still not sure what to do with that beautiful topper though. I just went topperless

Extend the wires and make a wall mount for it. there has to be some wall space in there that you couldn't fill with a pin.

I'm in the same boat. My ceiling is too low for the topper.

That's a good idea, i've got a few other toppers that I've been thinking about making a display for.
Quoted from Mrbill:this afmr LE did not have a good trip.. Back to start for you. Looks like the pallet failed either through abuse or by chicago gaming not putting a bottom on it for stability/support.
Sorry to hear that. Pallet looks like the same as the one my LE was on. I assume this was more from forklift drivers loading and unloading other people's freight.

Did you open the box to see if the game was OK? You may be surprised as it is packed in there good.
Quoted from bigdaddy07:Did you open the box to see if the game was OK? You may be surprised as it is packed in there good.
If I open it I think I take possession of it. I was told not to last time they destroyed 3 tron LE's. I called chicago gaming and they said it was right to send it back.
I figure it fell over and hit something and the topper smashed into the front of the pin.
Quoted from Quadrat:Sorry to hear that. Pallet looks like the same as the one my LE was on. I assume this was more from forklift drivers loading and unloading other people's freight.
It looks like a quality pallet, but why not put a bottom on it. Every other pallet has one for support. I think the extra $2 in wood would have made a difference in this case. maybe next time they will think about it.

Someone else had a box that showed up like that(maybe worse) and the game was fine. After reading your're most recent post, I'm surprised they don't want you to tear it open just a bit and inspect without opening.

When in doubt, refuse delivery. Fuck these shitty ass freight companies who don't respect the products they are entrusted to handle.

Concealed amage can bite hard if the box looks like that...absolute rule...don't accept it unless your willing to fight over problems that aren't initially evident....been down this road a million times.

After unboxing one, it just appeared as though it caved in in the empty area of the box or weak spot when topper is tied to. There's nothing for about 14 inches down and the game sits on foam underneath and is protected for 2.5 inches on bottom and 4 inches + on the sides. The topper sits on top of the coinbox and is that is protected by foam as well. The side it gets trucked from is the side the cabinet is right against.
I get it, it's a lot of money and always better to be safe than sorry. Just sucks to have a game right on the front door that has to be sent back and CGC has said to refuse it, so can't really go against that. Sorry you have to go through that

Completely agree, and I've made exceptions when the item was crucial for a time sensitive install. Got bit a couple times.
I think these games are packaged amazingly well, and are designed to take a hit or 2. I'm more concerned for the poster that there's been excessive vibration, inherent impact to internals, that may not show until they game is set up, running, and suddenly a bracket falls off, broken assembly, etc.
Very sad for him, as the thrill is overwhelming, but if CGC said send it back, I'd heed the advice....short term joy will be far outweighed if this thing took a shot....
just to update, I ended up accepting it.
The driver sat in front of my house for about 30 min. while I was calling chicago gaming(chicago said I should refuse it) and then the distributor(I sent him the pics). the shipper was playing it off as a refused shipment and wanted to charge the distributor to send it back.
So distributor called me and said I should go and open it and note damage and then refuse it. So I went to the carrier and they had already opened the top! So I opened the box and it looked ok. maybe a scratch on on the coin door. But nothing really damaged that I noticed. Next time I will hold for pickup at the terminal.
Quoted from Rolls-Royce:...Just have to be pacient, long wait for Canadians to get ours.
