Quoted from rrosenhouse:Is there a connection for a subwoofer on AFMr? If not, how would one hook it up?
Use can use alligator clips to easily remove if wanted. I solder my connectors to make them a little more secure. Very easy either way.

Quoted from wolftownjeff:Thanks, so mine in the picture is backwards?
Yes it is backwards. Be careful to not have it to close to the left edge or the ball can get stuck on the lip. I actually have to adjust mine still.
Quoted from wolftownjeff:Thanks, so mine in the picture is backwards?
I bought an extra protector and put one on the top, and on the bottom.
Look at any older game, and see all the wear on the bottom. The top is especially important nowadays due to the thick clear that chips on exposed edges.
My advice... Use two!

Pffft....I never lose my ball there, so why protect it?
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Remake NIB owners. Did all versions of the game come with the manual?
My LE did. That's all I can offer.
Quoted from wolftownjeff:Thanks, so mine in the picture is backwards?
I still have to adjust mine a bit maybe a bit more over to the right, as I've gotten one ball stuck on the lip of the left side of the Cliffy; however....Here's how I installed on mine:

My SE came w/ a paper manual. I don't really use it though. I downloaded the PDF and I refer to that far more often than the paper manual.

My SE came with the complete manual.
Quoted from derekbro:ill try again,
does anyone know If there are LED flipper buttons that work with CGC remakes?
Thanks
Here's a writeup on how to connect a MMr, maybe it works w/ AFMr?

That’s how mine looks and my ball gets hung up as well on occasion. Try moving it towards the right more.
My LE came with a manual, and keys
I have the Cliffy’s installed. If you get hang ups I can only suggest removing it and “pinching” it tighter? It is held on by pressure and I know they are “hyperthin” so there should be no hang-ups.
On a side note, after I installed the scoop Cliffy, my SDTM drains are no more!!
Quoted from Kawydud:My SE came with the complete manual
Same with mine. Should also have the registration card.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Remake NIB owners. Did all versions of the game come with the manual?
Mine did, but it was version 1.4. I downloaded v1.5 and threw out the old one.

It's going to be a better night! Congrats!

Yes. I put some on a MMr a while back but can't remember exactly how I did it and and I don't own the game anymore. I believe that I just tapped into the 12v in this power box.

Yes, indeed it was! Welcome to the club!
Stopped by abarigamebar today. June 30th will mark two year anniversary and we should surpass 40,000 way before then.

Wow! How is everything holding up? Would have loved to see a thread for this similar to the MMr one.

Looks like its ready for another ~40k plays, everything has been holding up great. It was part of the first runs of the SE's if I'm not mistaken.

A great Return On Investment (minus any parts + labour)! At this rate my AFMRLE will outlast me
Looking at AFMR new pricing and doesn’t make a lot of sense. As far as I can see, only have lowered price of CE to $6000. I think I would prefer the SE with upgraded display, sound, an shaker motor. But looks like SE is still at $7,300. Guess I’ll wait until SE goes down to $6,800. Can’t justify $1300 more than base price.

Maybe you just justified a CE purchase for yourself? I think the CE's and SE's are more level now with the new $6000, or less, pricing on the CE. Before at $6500 CE really made no sense compared to what you could get for $800 more for the SE. $1300 makes you think a little more for sure, but you could keep in simple and get a CE at $6000 and be good. Gameplay is the same minus a few lights.

$6800 is about what a low use AFMrSE is going for these days.
Either way, you can't go wrong.
Definitely consider the CE at 6000. Then add a shaker and the HD color rom chip and you are at 6500/6550 or so. That is still a good amount lower than the SE and you have a very similar setup. The graphics are the same once you have the color hd chip with a smaller screen. It is still the high res updated dots in it. Shaker is super easy to install and the chip is a 30 second job.

Got mine with 136 plays and $350 in mods for $6400. Just snagged a MMrS with 107 plays for $7,000

Great prices! Now you have money left over for more mods

Do the CE. You can add to it.
Finally got my AFMRLE #379 put together. Added a Sub, Cliffy protectors and Eat At Eddies mod. One word WOW! What a awesome game. So glad I purchased this game, it is truly amazing!!! CGC Killed it!!!

Congrats! Seems like a few folks have picked up LE’s NIB lately. How many are left in dealer warehouses??
AFM is a very approachable, fun game. Love Sterns, but traded one away for an AFM and have absolutely no regrets. AFM is what pinball should be.
I recently put Cliffy's on my new AFMrLE, including the exit for the left VUK. I started having issues with the left VUK misfiring when trying to kick a ball up to the left wireform. The ball seems to be hitting the edge of the VUK scoop. I think I may have reinstalled the VUK incorrectly. Can someone tell me if the tab the green arrow is pointing to should be on top (the other side) of the transition from the mothership?

Yours looks right. Balls roll down hill. If the tab were on top, the balls would hit it rather than onto it.
LTG : )

Thanks for the input Lloyd. I thought the same thing, that's exactly why I reassembled it the way I did...
When the VUK tries to kick the ball up to the wireform the ball seems to hit on the edge of the open side of the scoop so it doesn't even reach the "elbow" in the scoop. It seems like the VUK is firing the ball at an angle so I thought that might be caused by the misplacement of the that tab. I've tried adjusting the coil strength, making it stronger actually seems to make the problem worse. I'm sure it's an adjustment issue but I'd rather not start bending things, it doesn't seem like that should be necessary.
Quoted from hollywood:Could it be hitting the Cliffy? I just installed my Cliffy set 4 days ago. Do you need pics?
I don't think it's hitting the Cliffy. I think it's hitting the scoop, I stick a finger down the mothership hole and deflect the ball up through the scoop and it works fine.
Quoted from hollywood:Actually, where is the Cliffy on that VUK anyway??
The Cliffy is on the playfield edge where the ball enters the VUK when the ball lock diverter is open.
No worries....must be extra? Lol. All roll overs and plastics are accounted for....fell from the left side when I dragged the play field out. Strange?!
