Thanks LTG during switch test recognises upper right flipper (not used) but bypasses the lower

Wasn't my cup of tea, make an offer! Put the original on!
It has chrome coin door rails and hinges, and I generally like the stock black door

Quoted from pins4life33:

Congrats!!! Welcome to the Club, looks like a lot of bling!!! I made mine into a Black Version so instead of chrome it is Black with flakes to get it a bit of a space look. Such a great game.

Thanks D...
Fixing the issues and toning down the bling ....
Fun game, with all the games I have owned , first for me ...

#804 3 years ago
Quoted from shovelhed:

Thanks greatly appreciated

Could someone please take a picture of the 89 flasher between the pop bumpers , looks like I have a wrong color wire attached.
Last step and the game is complete

When I got the pin, had 3 LEDs out and the topper had seen better days. Took the topper apart repaired all and matched it to the Bill Ung Blue saucer mod.
The topper although not seen in the picture is much better as you can see the beams coming down and the red yellow effects don't blend in to all red

Quoted from LTG:

Tests - Flashers - Stop on that one. Hit the Start button then start hitting the "+" diagnostic button. That steps you through flasher, fuse, drive transistor, wire colors, and connector info.

Thanks Lloyd
Always appreciated

#816 3 years ago

Resolved ... JET Flasher.
Someone modified the wires , traced back the original wire from the board down, replaced as should be works now as should!
Thanks all for the help!

What is a Martian Bomb achieved in Stroke of Luck, what does it do and how and when to use it?

#823 3 years ago
Quoted from yzfguy:

Your launch button will blink when it's active. If you hit the launch button while collecting martians in Martian multiball, it spots you one. Best to save it till the last one.

Thank you

Is the translight supposed to be clear around the AFM letters?
Doesn't seem right to be able to see the Bulbs?

Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

I'm looking at a few trade packages right now and someone has an original AFM with a redone cabinet (looks nice), clean boards, and everything looks pretty nice except the playfield. I am thinking I could do some touchup paint around this to make it look decent and throw some Mylar on top, but wasn't sure if there were any overlays for these like they have on Addams Family and a few other popular machines. Is this beyond help?
I'm thinking the cheap way would be cliffy's on teh scoop and touch up paint followed by mylar. Any other options beyond the full playfield swap?
[quoted image]

I would get a new playfield, play the hell out of the the one you have and do the swap down the road. I'm sure you will enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!

In my game I have the blue LEDs with blue caps
However the running lights are red. They are easy to see even during bright daylight. Came with the game installed and I'm happy with the blue as there is a lot of red on the game already

Quoted from ataritoday:

... are they easy to take out from the bottom ?

No they are not completely bottom accessible. To remove the pop bumpers completely you need access from the top, would start by pulling the caps and see if you have a frayed wire , also a visual from the bottom where the metal leads come from the pops

#935 3 years ago
Quoted from PilotPinball:

How do you get it off

Drill out the rivets , replace with rivet gun or rivet kit.
Can also use small screws

Quoted from transprtr4u:

Would check all wires first ,and perhaps a incandescent 906, also pull the bulb you may not be getting good contact.
Check the metal tabs which hold the bulb

#939 3 years ago
Quoted from LTG:

In your picture, you can se they are gaped too wide apart

Yes they are

#947 3 years ago
Quoted from Pinhead1982:

Yes it is. A first run - look at the COW RAMP Jackpot insert art.. notice anything different about it.

What I'm I missing?
Please
