Quoted from bigd1979:Heres my very nice basically huo afm. It sat in storage from around 1997-2010. Then was set up in friends basement rarely played until i purchased it years ago. Truly a nice original survivor that plays amazing. And the unfaded silkscreened cab is gorgeous.
Very nice and totally agree!
Does anyone know the part number for the screws that go into the top of the Cow ramp?
Can't find in manual or anywhere!
What do people think?

Quite a lot of stuff here. Ship from Germany.
Quoted from bbddpp:Anyone got a trick I can use to get my left AFM flipper to travel up JUST a hair higher? Strength is good, never rebuilt a flipper before (don't really want to dig into that unless I absolutely must). Oddly enough at the low point it does seem even with the right one and when I move it manually inside the travel is the same so it's definitely some sort of hardware adjustment I guess? The way it is now, you can't trap a ball in the left, believe it or not, angle is JUST enough to roll the ball into the center. Right flipper trap working ideally.

Had this issue a lot.
Usually a plunger and/or coil stop more worn on one side.
Your game will play a lot better if you replace coil stops and plungers.
And flippers will then meet in correct position at the top.
Anyone is getting hissing from left speaker when putting in a color dmd?
I thought they released a patch for this years ago?
Or maybe it's something wrong on my game?
Thanks
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:I bet you a nickel if you move the spot the dmd is grounded to it will stop.
I just looked at instructions again and see there is a specific spot for the ground cable.
I will put it back in tomorrow and see if it makes any difference!
Thanks

I only just bought sideblades but these are the best I have seen!
Very tempted.
Attack-From-Mars-Art-Blades-Thumbnail (resized).jpgProbably a doh question but where is the strobe bulb?
I put a backboard decal on that took hours and tested strobe multiball and can't see blinding flashes.
I checked the connections on the board that is on the back of the backboard.
But, I don't recall ever seeing the bulb?!
Quoted from LTG:Page 1-61 and page 1-62 in the manual cover it pretty good. Under the big saucer.

Thanks - will have a good look tomorrow!
Played some AFM today while remembering Lyman.
For me AFM is simply the greatest pinball ever!
Considering it was done in 1995 it has stood the test of time and is fun for every player that steps up to it.
Sure, there have been many great games since, but Lyman, you were the greatest and nowhere did you shine more than AFM
Got my first AFM in 2010.
Sold it, regretted it.
Got another 4 years ago.
70 games come and gone in last decade through my doors.
And after all that.....
AFM - it's the best game of all time
Games like Maiden and Godzilla have raised the bar with design and coding, and yet AFM has something no modern game seems to have.
Timeless.
Quoted from LTG:From Williams. I uncrated the one I had when it was new. All the way up.
LTG : )
Are you saying stock AFM had both outlanes fully open?!!
I watched promo video but too blurry to make out outlanes!
Quoted from LTG:Mine did back when it was new and I uncrated it.
LTG : )
Wow, that makes it way tougher!
