Just joined the club, now that TheLaw is out. I'm going to repaint Buzz and Bud. I'm thinking of using Createx airbrush paint and then two-part auto clear. Has anyone repainted theirs, and what paint did you use and how has it held up?

Quoted from voxtech:Can anyone give suggestions on how to remove scratches from the mini playfield ? The ones on mine aren't terrible but at the right angle they can be seen clearly. A replacement is costly = $149
Novus 3 followed by Novus 2. If they are deeper you may want to start with some really fine sandpaper first, 1500 grit or higher. Then switch to the polishes.
Who has brightened this game up without adding blinding LED's? I'm going to shop mine out closer to spring and would like to figure out how to get more light on the playfield. One issue I have is the spotlights to the left of the slam ramp get hit a lot and either get spun out of position or the LED's get knocked loose.
Has anyone relocated that spotlight stalk so that it's not getting hammered so much? Out of all of my games, even older games with incandescent lamps, it's the darkest.
Quoted from djblouw:What's broken? Did the plunger break?
The spring you're showing in the second picture does not look broken (although it is bent a little bit).
That's where the screw goes through to hold the gopher. He's missing the top portion.
Would someone be so kind as to take some pictures of the underneath of their upper playfield wiring? I'm buttoning up my NGG and have multiple plugs that could go to different spots. Williams must have started using wiring harnesses that would work with multiple games in the WPC95 era. There's no way that all of these plugs get used.
You'd think I'd learn that when disassembling pins, when I think I have enough pictures, take some more!
Added over 6 years ago: Pinsider Djblouw was nice enough to send me the link to his pictures on Photobucket and I'm squared away now. Thanks DJ!
Quoted from dudah:OK despite my slam ramp being spot welded, it seems to be in good shape.
Still missing the side posts. Marco has the posts.
Do I really need those special gray 23-6824 post rubbers? Or can I use any standard or wider (yellow) post rubber?
Put what ever you want on there, the wider yellow ones would protect your ramp better. I put blue urethane posts on there of the normal size.
Quoted from dudah:Any maintenance that needs to be done on the wheel? Lube?
I run the test in the menu and it lands one off from where it says it should.
I don't remember the manual saying anything about lubrication on the wheel. It would probably just attract dirt.
There should be a mark on the side of the wheel that should line up with the mark on the sticker. Make sure those are lined up. It's possible someone replaced the sticker and didn't put it on correctly.
