Hey, I was just cleaning my Wade Krauss Atlantis repro playfield and noticed some very slight
dimpling on the lower half section nearest the rollovers. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still pleased with the overall quality but just wondering if anyone else noticed anything similar. Perhaps this is a one off situation or related to the recent issues the big pinball companies have experienced.

A friend of mine just installed the Atlantis in his game two weeks ago and has only 100 plays on it and there are many dimples on the playfield. I did not ask where but he said many. I also know of someone with an Abra-Ca-Dabra and he say he also has many. Does anybody out there have similar experiences and if so with what titles of the Wade Playfields? Not trying to bash anybody, as the quality of those playfields is stellar. I myself have a Sing Along with no issues.

Don’t see any dimpling on Atlantis or any others in my collection. Realistically, they all have about 500 plays or less.

I probably have more than 100 plays but have had it for a couple of years. The upper 2/3rds is perfect.

This is mine, 500 plays is guess. Right flipper is using a hot coil.

I have some ball dimples in my Atlantis playfield. I sprayed the playfield with automotive clear about a year ago but just got done installing it in a restored game with only about 200 plays on it. I only put about a coat and a half of clear on it, you can still see the outlines of all the artwork and the wood grain.

It was hard to image on the angle but the finished was perfect when I was done spraying it and installed it. Looking at the pictures that looks like fish eyes but it's not as it was perfect when I was done spraying.

    I added one more image.

Has anyone else had anything similar on one of Wade's playfields?
