I drunkenly stumbled across a bar tonight called "perfectly innocent amusements" right off the boardwalk. They had Addams, Twilight Zone, Getaway, Dr. Who and more. My friends bailed on me so I didn't play any games , but there is pinball in AC!

Nice. I'll be sure to drop some coins on vacation in a few months!

Wow! not only is there pinball but good machines! How was the condition? It seems like they would be smart to keep the games in good shape with a lineup like that. It would be shameful to let great titles sit broken in the wild. Unfortunately that's how most machines are they I stumble upon

that's a good thing to know, as i usually wander the boards there a few times a year...

as a side note, jilly's in ocean city has some good games as well, and they are a quarter a play... i played a medieval madness there a couple weekends ago...

    Hey Chris,
Did Jilly's get anything new this year? Off season is usually when their games are nicest. I guess they shop them over the winter. Last time I saw that Medieval it was in sad shape.

i dunno, i don't remember what they had last year... i did see several titles there that people like to talk about, so it might be worth a visit... i do remember the mm being shut down last time i was there (late fall)...

i can't say if everything on the mm "worked the way it was supposed to", i'm not familiar with the gameplay at all, i just played it because it was there and i had a quarter... only thing i can really say is that the flippers seemed plenty strong... oh, and i kinda liked it, even though i had no idea what i was doing... i just tried to keep the ball in play and follow whatever visual cues the machine gave me...

Such as? Didn't anything look newer? Last year's new machine was Star Trek & they usually have one new game each year. By Sept. they're beat to hell.

geez, i'm old... i can't remember what i had for dinner last night, let alone what machines is saw a few weeks ago... i just remember mentioning to swmbo that there were several games there that people talk about...

i rememeber a "simpsons" machine... dammit, this SUCKS, i can remember the exact locations of games i played 40 years ago, but can't remember what i just saw...

I remember when there was an Aladdin's Castle arcade at the corner of Park Place & the Boardwalk. Bally owning Aladdin's Castle as well as the Park Place Casino-Hotel might have been the reason.

I use to buy games from that Aladdins Castle. Still have tokens from there. Before the Aladdins Castle was there they had an open faced game room called the Green Room. 2 Pacmans, 2 Gorfs, 2 Space Invaders Deluxe & about 20 Bally pins between them...

You probably went to the slot warehouse that supported the arcade on N. Tennessee avenue in the unmarked building. IIRC, 400 N. Tennessee. Basically, all of the other casinos in town got their Bally slot parts from there while Park Place had their own on-site "Bally parts department".

There is also a great placer in Asbury Park, a bit North of AC called the Silverball Museum. Flat fee to get in, fifties themed and quite nice. Found it last year when in OCNJ on Vacation. Worth going to if in that area.

Talk about memories. This was where I hung out when my other friends were gambling.

Imagine how nice Pinside would be if people took the time to update the Pin Map when they make threads like this

Done. I had a hard enough time posting coherently, let alone create a new location on the map.
