Hello everyone this is my Atari Superman Journey. I wish I would have gotten some before pictures but I didn't think about posting it then. This is what I've done so far. I plan to print out an overlay for my Playfield if I can find someone who will do it. My Playfield is pretty beat up. I also got the stencils from pinball pimp.

Does anyone know where to get a Superman playfield overlay?

Wow fantastic job!

I have a Superman pinball that works pretty well. But the backbox backlights do not turn on.

The other lights such as “ball” and “game over” do.

Where would be a good place to start with the backlighting?

I may just add an LED strip and call it a day.

Man, i am still really intrigued by this table as the comic art was exactly what i grew up with!!

Supersoulman, just run a 5v led strip..

Supersoulman I’m having the same issue with mine. I have followed each wire and replaced quite a few bulbs. I am considering buying the LED light set on eBay

Is it just the backbox? Are you blowing the fuse that controls the GI lighting? If so, I had a similar problem and determined that enough #44 bulbs pulled too much power over time and would blow the fuse. I switched to LEDs and problem was resolved.

I don’t know if the bulbs are #44 or not. One of the fuses does keep blowing. I will order some LEDs.

Thank you

mine used to do the same thing (blow the fuse for the GI lighting ) after being on for a while. I changed the GI and backbox bulbs to comet's retro LED's and left all of the inserts as incandescent bulbs and have not blown any fuses since.

Thank you again Zerbam!

Bump this topic to see if anyone is aware of where to get an overlay?

Also, does anyone know of or have a lead on any superman drop targets, or decal stickers. Picked up a superman last week and it has 1 replacement drop target that doesn't match.

Also any leads on the octagon targets. I have 1 broken and 1 cracked.

Sadly, I don't know what that means.

In a post a little higher on this page someone had one custom printed it seems like. Doesn't seem like there is anywhere to buy one.
