Hello all,
I have a working Superman in good condition. Has some wear around the pops and the kickout hole but overall is in good shape. Can include pictures if needed but just kind of trying to get a rough idea of value. I am located in BC Canada.
Thanks all

Quoted from Zartan:

Yes, I bought mine in the states for $2500 USD. They were asking $2800 USD. A pawn shop in Florida had one for $4000USD about a week after I bought mine. I would ask $5000 in Canada. People are getting really crazy prices right now. As long as the buyer doesn’t know much about Atari pinball parts and service you will get it.

Thanks for the info. I did check the archives but it seems like using pinside as price point for Canada at the moment isn’t the most reliable. Prices are insane so I was thinking about offloading 3 of my older pins, Superman being one of them.

I think that is one of the keepers! I really don’t see myself selling it. It is still my favourite pinball game!

Yeah its a great game and I mean it’s Superman so the theme is one of the best. However room is a problem and I will probably have to go down to 2 pins for the time being.I have owned a deadpool pro and currently own a Munsters LE and really enjoy the newer pins. I was thinking of getting rid of Superman and my other 2 older pins to make room and fund a Star Wars premium, WOZ or a Led Zep premium.

Quoted from snyper2099:

Seems a tad high. Here’s an “untested” one below that looked ok cosmetically…. I’ve not seen one sell this high but maybe in Canada, people pay a premium no matter what the title. Atari boards can be hard to repair but, there are people out there that can repair them and are willing to work on them. If an untested one sold for a grand, a working one would sell for 3500? I guess maybe…

Yeah Canada is wayyy more expensive for pins. This pin actually has had the boards gone over by a place called flippers in Vancouver who knows his stuff about Atari’s. Plus it’s OBO so I am willing to negotiate for sure. This is also in Monopoly money I mean CAD dollars.

Quoted from snyper2099:

I understand…. Just don’t know if a potential buyer will. Searching some more through Pinside historic sales indicate the game is 1600 in good condition.

Yeah I get where you are coming from. I got some bites today and and will see if it materializes to a sale. Western Canadas pin market is pretty expensive though and I feel pinsides sales are not accurate when selling in western Canada. They were way low on my deadpool pro which went for more than pinsides historic sales suggested. I can always lower the price. I do appreciate the conversation and points though and you have an awesome collection.

Sold for $2800 CAD. Not quite $3500 but I am happy. So the 3 mark was close. Thanks for everyone’s advice.
