I guess I can see why the price is what it is.... IMO, that playfield shouldn't have even been a restoration candidate in the first place. Simply amazing they were able to fix all of that. Problem is.....now you're stuck with a 2.25k playfield that someone else could just buy am *entire* Superman in better condition than your original playfield for less than the cost of just this pf... and then spend substantially less to get their PF restored than to buy this one. Honestly....if you were going to go to this much trouble to save a trashed playfield... I'm really torn. The preservationist in me says THANK YOU....the cheapskate in me says WHAT WERE YOU THINKING...and the collector in me says THERES NO WAY I SPENT THAT MUCH MONEY RESTORING A PF TO NOT USE IT! =P

Hopefully there's someone out there doing a no-holds-barred resto that will want this. Superman is a fun game when it's playing right....it's just that very very few of them I've ever personally played were set up well.
