I don't post things like this much anymore, but sometimes you come across something you want to share and show off. I got this Superman today. Of course there were unsubstantiated and unprovable claims of HUO, but no matter what it looks like it has spent most of its life in a basement.

It works and plays. Photos show the game as I picked it up. Compression on the photos makes the cabinet reds look funny. They aren't splotchy. It came with the manual and schematics.

It also came with parts from a second game excluding the playfield, cabinet, backglass, lockdown bar, and transformer. But I do have all the hardware (upper and lower playfield), plastics, circuit boards, posts, inserts, lamp sockets, coin door, and other stuff.

I don't know if it is a keeper, but I've never owned an Atari game so this will be my chance to play with one and enjoy it.

Wow, that is the nicest Superman I've ever seen.

The Atari games I've seen are almost always seriously neglected. Nice find!

Wow, what a great find! Thing looks like it was absolutely well cared for. I wish the owner of the pin I just bought knew the owners of your Superman so they could've knocked some sense into my seller about routine maintenance and cleaning!

When I take my son to the local arcade, he has to play the 1990s Simpsons arcade game, and because I try to be in an immediate radius, I find myself either playing Laser Ball or Superman as Simpsons arcade game is an end cap game to those rows of pins. After a few rounds on each, Laser Ball rarely sees my quarters anymore as I have a lot more fun playing Superman.

Enjoy that beaut!

Superb find there, Erik! Shame it may be too big for Pizza West, unless you want the pinball count to go back to 6.
