Just joined the Superman club! It's in pretty nice shape, but needs some repair love. I posted over in the Early Solid State tech area, but realized I should mention it here to get some Superman experts on board hopefully. Thanks in advance for any help! Here's the thread:

Can someone do me a favor and tell me what their 7 VDC test point on their power board is reading on their meter? I checked two project Superman machines and both are showing something in the 13 VDC range there.

Thanks in advance!

Hey all, I asked this in my own personal Superman repair thread, but I realized that more eyes might fall on the question over in this thread.

Is there a safe way to hook up an MPU in a game that you are unsure the status of functionality-wise?

I know my power supply has the right voltages. I'm just concerned something else might damage the new MPU, and I'm not familiar with Atari enough to know if I need to worry about anything aside from the correct voltages on the power supply.

I know on other games I'm able to do things like remove the connector coming from the solenoids to the driver board, etc. to protect against downstream issues while testing things like proper boot.
