Some of the coils appear to have a fuse of some type incorporated into the winding like that of a magnet.

Nice backglass condition.
Is that a cardboard protector wrapped over the rectifier fuse board? Mine was missing that. (and mine never had the "tech chart" stapled to the back of the backbox.)

I haven't had any coils go bad yet, to want to tear them apart and see exactly what the device inside the coil is. I assume a fusable link as well.

I took mine to Chicago Expo again this year... it got some nice compliments for bring an uncommon game, and got about 280 plays on it.
(it was down a while on Friday when a return lane guide came loose)

Yes cardboard both on the rectifier board as well as the driver board. I did see your game at the show and indeed is a nice example.

Also my example had no signs of a serial number on it.
