And the touchups of the playing cards' black insert circles, can't make heads or tails of why he used red, pink and yellow. They line up diagonally in one direction, musta made sense to him but I sure don't get it. And how bad could the art have been worn for him to repaint that whole face, even if the flipper was rubbing? The other side looks fine.
<<D) The most cost effective approach would be to lightly sand off that face area, repaint a light to medium grey and make a water slide decal of just Annie's face. The biggest challenge here is just getting a nice Hi-Rez image of that area from a solid specimen.>>
Plus who knows how much of the original face is still under all that paint, if they didn't sand it all bare first. Maybe there is a ton of it there that can be sanded down to and recovered.
