Annie has been the top gal in my collection, but I've had her for 5 years now. All good, no complaints.
But, perhaps it's time to let someone else enjoy this machine and take care of Annie.

I'm curious to see if much interest in this pin? Is there any past selling price history Pinsiders can share?
I believe I recall a rough looking project/parts Annie machine sold at a Fun! auction at TPF one year, possibly for $1800ish.

Annie got to go to Texas Pinball Festival one year, and to Houston Arcade & Pinball Expo one year.
Other than that she mostly has just been hanging out at my place here in south Louisiana.
Fortunately, she is not a flood victim.

I still think you should have won best 80’s game or some other ribbon. Superb condition, remarkable survivor.

#3 2 years ago

Wish I would have been there to play her.

#4 2 years ago

I think Annie should come to the Rocky Mountains! that's a very clean looking machine, nice job on maintaining her.

#5 2 years ago

part her out so i can buy the backglass so pretty .. so shiny

Here's a couple pics of Annie at TPF in March, 2013. She got to hang out next to Nevus's Tron LE.
We've had a lot of fun at TPF over the past 5 or 6 years.

She plays well and looks nice Mike. If I had built my game room a bit larger....

The custom painted Asteroid Annie pin-gulp drink holder was done by Trilogybeer.
The black ace of spades on the metal mounting bracket is the perfect extra touch of awesome.
TigerLaw is the man for hooking me up with such a useful pinball add-on.

When I bring a machine to TPF or to Hou Arcade Expo for the free play area, I usually install two pin-gulps on the front of my machine to help provide convenient places for players to set their drinks.

Yep! Trilogy’s pingulps are phenominal. Every machine should have his good work as an addition.

#10 2 years ago

Damn Mike! Look at that beauty! Bring her to the Indy 500 next year and we'll pull her around in a wagon with a generator.

#11 2 years ago

I would just not even sell that one. There is something about it, I would just keep it. That's just my opinion. A good one to never sell.

Perhaps we can convince pinball-is-great to keep Annie till TPF and sell this gem there in 2018.

Hmmm. Good one Tiger. Thinking this one over. Starting to get dizzy.

The 3rd pic of the two manuals is more just showing some Gottlieb manuals that one might want to have if repairing/collecting Gottlieb early solid state pinball machines.

#16 2 years ago

Wow! What a nice looking backglass! and those manuals! I'm definitely having Annie Envy here... !

I'm more convince than ever that she needs to take a tour out west!

TigerLaw has it right for certain, she's definitely a gem!

#17 2 years ago

Just clarifying that this Asteroid Annie has not been rode hard out in the bars for years.
Yes, she hangs out with some weirds dudes playing cards. She's got a mix of good girl - bad girl in her.
Shooter lane and kick-out hole are still respectable.

A nice game for sure.

#19 2 years ago

Very nice I'd say 7k + I know a set of nos plastics sold for $500 and a backglass for $1500. A complete original machine to the right person f you money could be 15k. Is there better art?

Which one is more valuable Annie or Stargazer?

#22 2 years ago
Quoted from doughslingers:

My knee jerk answer is Annie, but I don't know. I've see quite a few Stargazers, but only one Annie.

#23 2 years ago

I love system 1 games so i would vote to keep her as this one is drop dead gorgeous and impossible to find

#24 2 years ago

Hard to find for sure...just a bummer it only a one player machine, maybe 5k range

Quoted from Pinball-is-great:

Girls with nice shooter lanes and kick out holes are so hard to find. Keep her!

#26 2 years ago

Just saw one on facebook for over 7k.

Guess it won't be hitting 10k this xmas

#27 2 years ago

There’s one on eBay right now for 8k.

What a nightmare! I turned down one years ago for $800 because the sound didn't work too good!

Nice looking machine. You restored it?

#32 2 years ago

This needs to stay here in southern LA! My favorite art and a grail pin for me for sure. Curious what you want for it.

#33 2 years ago
Quoted from TigerLaw:

I knew it was rare-ish. Probably over 13 years ago.

#34 2 years ago

Nice machine - though for that price, I'd expect the PF to have been clear-coated and pristine. Still, it's a great example of the game.

Any thoughts of Annie making a return to TPF in 2018?

I hear ya Ted... I turned one down for $700 CAD because the backglass was flaking badly right in the centre (that was before people were reproducing backglasses). I played a couple of games and thought it was too easy so passed. And I 'm the biggest Gottlieb fan in these areas too. WTF was I thinking?

Epic Annie bump to see if she is going to TPF.

I can bring one to Southern Fried Expo this Summer or Nashville Expo this Nov.

At TPF? Heck yes it will be more packed this year than ever. Annie would be a huge game to have there.

No yours is not the one in question. The OP's has an original backglass.

While this is true. THe comment about the ‘cost and lack of ‘clearcoat’ was about the machine that was for sale, in the yellow room.

Look at the inside, see the same paper staples? Yup. That’s same one.

Yeah ok that machine in the yellow room for that price it should have an original backglass

Unfortunately, it doesn’t have the original. But I bought the game anyway and it is out getting a clear coat.

What is the real world price to buy one now or sell one pleass?

Quoted from doughslingers:

I think it is inconclusive based on this thread. Not enough data points. Super rare game, condition is king as always.
