Hi Everyone,

I just acquired a 1972 Gottlieb World Series that has been repainted. I would like to put the artwork back on like it was originally. Does anyone have any digital stencils for the artwork. I thought I would ask before I try and recreate it.

Thanks
Steve

I can scan a game for you and give you a composite. I use an 8.5 by 11 flat bed and take multiple scans of a side then stitch it together in photoshop. Jeff Miller could cut you vinyl paint stencils...

If you have time to scan that would be great and i can stitch them. Thank you. Let me know what i owe you. No rush.

That’s a very interesting repaint. Looks like it was inspired by Google Maps. Did you get a story behind it?

Great game worth restoring.

You can try to use a latex remover. Might get lucky if it is latex on top.

I can definitely create stencils now

The original paint scheme is very simple. I did mine with tape and baseball stencil I downloaded for the Cricket. https://www.dogfordstudios.com/pinball-restore-project-1972-gottlieb-world-series/

I actually read your writeup this morning. Nicely done. Yes the artwork is quite simple agreed. This will take some of the guessing out of play when I do the stencils

Rustoleum Lagoon is a pretty good match for the base

or Mayan treasure
