Strip club in Allentown was a eye opener with Mike from CPR trying to deal with him. I tried my luck later but gave up with the bad vibes business wise I got from Gene. He wanted me to pay for a lawyer before I could even make a playfield. I did buy a couple of EBD playfields which had issues & were full price. The last time I loaded his truck at TPF because no one would help, & as like others have said never got a free lunch. Sorry he lost it all, but some people do not know when to sell stuff. It was definitely better parts wise with Wayne & Rick. Gene liked to screw people over business deals. Glad I escaped having to deal with him.

I helped Gene load up his stuff at TPF one year, when no one would give him a hand. Early I bought a few EBD playfields at top dollar with flaws. Never got into business with Gene since he wanted you to do all the work, take all the risks, pay his legal bills, & then screw you over with doing the sales. His story telling & bull shit you could figure out on your own. The only best time I had with Gene was at the strip club at a Allentown Show when he was courting CPR to make more stuff. I still do not believe he actually lost any money on BBB. Many parts he bought dirt cheap, & likely in his head fixed a full price to them in the BOM. Too bad he lost it all. But he is a part of the pinball history.
