anyone know someplace to get some kind of different pinball art? i have several arcade marquee and pinball translites framed. i want something different. i bought one of those pac man red ghosts at wal mart that lights up. actually, pretty good. i'm trying to find something different. i feel something that is not a photo or framed would help the room.

Go to Google - search - pinball neon - go to images. Lots of ideas. Maybe get a custom neon sign made for your room.

Buy some photos then get them framed. If you want the Wow! factor, try this. Your local framing shop can do it.

I have some original artwork from Paul Faris that I’ve considered parting with. I have an early Xenon sketch and some original side art drawings for Centaur. Not sure if you’d be interested in them, but they’re certainly unique and would look great framed in a gameroom.

I was thinking of buying that Clash of the Titans print. Does the blacklight ink reflect well behind the glass? It looks good in the photo you posted.

Art....for the wall. Don’t forget the floor. A wild arcade carpet will be the biggest art pieces in the room

I custom frame new and old arcade marquees with or without led backlighting. The frames use a thick 4 inch wood frame and painted in fun colors to match. I also do the same with pinball playfields. I have done a few for customers gamerooms. I can post some pics if you are interested. There are pics on my website under gameroom decor. www.modfatherpinball.com

How about putting some of your translites into an LED backlit frame and light them up as intended? I may be biased, but I believe Lit Frames has the best solution

I've made some of my own, two shadow boxes. Don't have a good pic of the shadow box with Bally Hi Lo Ace backglass, between those two pins but it looks pretty good.

Yea, the blacklight colors look good through the glass of the frames. I have 1 20w blacklight cfl bulb in a lamp above each pair of prints, and they glow good in a dim room

So, this is my FG at work. Flanked by two posters from Mondo Graphics by Martin Ansin, and the third [Buck Rogers] from Hero Complex Gallery by Laurent Durieux.

Just remember my #1 rule for buying art.

You should never buy art that you can live with, buy art that you can’t live without.
