    Quoted from RetroRambler:

I am seeing this push a lot. Younger people are burned out on the digital landscape. Video games are just played out. I was there and remember the very early video games like Sea Wolf, Air Sea Battle, Circus, etc in the mid 70's. I was around 7 years old back then going with my parents to the bowling alleys. Back then, it was pinball because the video games were more of a novelty. By 1981, it was full game on for video games and pinball was dead until Space Shuttle, PinBot, and High Speed revived pinball.
Fast forward to today, and I just go from game to game on Xbox Game Pass being bored to tears eventually turning off the console after a short time period. I actually prefer to go into the game room and play Galaga or Donkey Kong vs most modern games. I own or have owned almost every console since the early 80s to the XBOX X/PS5 era, but now I am returning to pinball. I am glad to see young adults getting back into board games, pinball, etc. If you haven't tried it, give foosball, bubble hockey, air hockey, bowling, putt-putt golf, and shooting pool a try. I never thought I would see this push toward as you call it - "analogue entertainment". I also like the term "non-deterministic gaming" since it's a game of physics with real mechanics vs software code only.

Video games are played out? Lol, sounds like wishful thinking on your part.

Maybe you should read the post I was quoting. It was a younger person stating they are more into analogue gaming vs video games. Go on Reddit and a lot of other forums, people are tired of the lack of innovation, the buggy code, and the same franchises cranking out the same titles year after year. So no, its not wishful thinking. Who do you think these new young, professional pinheads are? Probably ex rabid video gamers. But to your point, the video game industry is massive and not going anywhere - agree 100%.

Ya, I read the post you quoted, thanks...

You literally said that video games are played out and that everything on game pass is boring.

None of that is true. Young people aren't migrating en mass from video games to pinball or mini-golf, that is 100% wishful thinking, and never going to happen.
