I am replacing a few broken connectors on my Sys 11 MPU (Grand Lizard), and I noticed that there are some diodes soldered onto the back of the MPU (lower-left corner if you're looking at it mounted in the box).

Is this a common mod done after the fact? Factory installed? It seemed to be playing fine before I took the boards out, so will probably just leave it but curious to know if there is a specific purpose to them.
