One tournament coming up soon,at flames arena.
Upstairs in the Olympic lounge.
They have about 8 games there now.
No date yet.
There is a league up in Edmonton.
They get together regularly there.
Die Hard pinball league there
We just had a battle of Alberta,Calgary against Edmonton.

Is that somewhere off Crowchild? Do they post something somewhere advertising it?

Darren told me about the tourney in EDM when he sold me his TWD and ST TNG. Already knocking off his ST scores but TWD is a biotch. Lol

They put an ad on kijiji,it fills up fast.
Yes it's on Crowchild,close to Glenmore.
Darren just got that walking dead,surprised he sold it already.

I'm looking forward to the tournament in Calgary if they have one again this fall! Did the one back in May, got knocked out in the first round but stuck around until the end, had a blast!

Was just at the Flames Community Arena the other day and they switched a few games out. White Water, Terminator 2, Flintstones, Revenge from Mars, Theatre of Magic, Metallica LE, and The Shadow. id love to get a few folks together once every month or two and have a pinball night with beers! Wish there were more places around town to play. Edmontons got a little better scene with a few place that have more than 2 or so machines.

Technically a tie,I was undefeated until the end.
Who knows what would have happened if we played the final match
Next time,no changes 3/4 the way through the tournament.

Congrats to both of you guys. Dan, don't worry, you'll get a win one of these days Honestly can't believe the awesome turnout. Definitely a challenge to make it work with that many people. Big thanks to Johnny and Zane for letting us put this on and wheeling in the extra games. Hopefully the guys who are heading up to Edmonton got some good match play training in. Overall that was one great night of pinball! Can't wait for the next one.

Congrats to the beautiful city of Calgary for another successful pinball tournament, would love to see a few guys come up to the capital for a chance to qualify in the top 16 in IFPA points for the year and play in the first Alberta Provincial Pinball Championship in February.

Thanks for bumping the thread Tony. Very excited to officially kick off the inaugural season of Stampede City Pinball tomorrow night. The response has been awesome. Can't wait to see everybody out! At least one spot left, so if you are interested shoot me a PM. League will run every second Wed night Jan 20 to Apr 27 at the Flames Community Arenas bar. Competition starts at 7:30pm sharp!

Awesome night of pinball. Initial seeding results are out. I think the format did a pretty good job of ranking people by skill. Darren ended up in the #2 spot... if that's sandbagging everyone better watch out! Can't wait to kick off the regular season in two weeks.

Not sure how i am looking in my division after last night. I'm in that weird position of being grouped with better players (As and Bs) on the weekly meets, but ranked Division C for playoffs. So earning points to stay in the top 4 players for C was really tough. My only hope now is i go down a group for meet 6 and maybe i stand a chance to grab a few more points. but win or lose, its been a lot of fun!

I'm not sure how the adjusted points system works but I think you get more points for beating a player higher ranked so that may be a benefit if that's the case.

One of you guys will get that last Div A spot. I think you should make a side bet to make it interesting! And just think you'll get a good preview of your playoff competition playing Doug and Darren. It will be a tall task to beat those guys for the money.
