I'm getting the feeling that the factory art blades on the JP2 LE are not available for purchase. I'm been searching & find plenty of options & even a Stern set but none are the ones on the LE. here are a couple pics of the set I'm looking for. I don't see them anywhere. is this something you can buy?

since I'm searching / making a shopping list for my wife to look at, I figured I might as well share them all here.

here are the official Stern ones. it's a close up of the clever girls eye

then there's this animated version of them

so far these are my favorite but still would really like to see the LE set. I assume I'll end up owning these.

You likely won’t find LE blades for sale. They would have to be removed from a LE.

I bought the retro refurb blades to match the back of the playfield the closest (similar to the LE), but they are overseas so shipping is taking some time.

I bought mine from retro refurbs in the UK and they look factory. Took 3 weeks to arrive.

Yes indeed. As always with artwork you see may more detail in person that you do in these small pics.

Did you use the wet or dry method? Their site recommends dry but I’ve installed vinyl wet previously. Dry without removing the pf seems like it would be quite the chore.

yes, I've been looking at these. the colors are right & it's a real similar style.

I really like the tilt graphics fence one. love all the little signs & how the fence is broken right at the raptor pit. really fit the table well but when I look a the trees it almost looks like they applied an art filter on use a lot of clone brush. i'm gonna hold off till I see some other pics or a video of a table w/ those installed.

when I installed the stern B&W blades on my Munsters, I just put them on dry & had absolutely no problems. painters tape to hold it in place and then peeled the backing off a little at a time. was even able to pull it off / re-apply it one time when I didn't like how it was laying. thing was stiff enough that bubbles weren't even an issue. I used a rubber squeegee thing used for window tint just to be safe but I don't know that it even did anything.

I love my Tilt Graphics set! I went through the same process you are. I really wanted the LE set, but they will never be offered other than on the actual LE (they are exclusive...much like the backglass, which is a bummer, but I get it). I went back and forth and took a chance on the Tilt set. I wasn't completely sold on the fence look until I got them installed. I haven't regretted them for a second!

I think the slight blurry look is to give the illusion of movement or wind blowing through the grass.

A few pics of mine can be found here:

thanks, I like how the fence appears to line up w. the gate in the back. these will be the ones I order. funny that I'm all worried about addons cause my machine doesn't even get here till tomorrow.

like your pterodactyl / pteranodon over the spiral ramp. I got 1 in my Amazon cart but dragging my feet so I can measure the ramp & get an idea on the size I'd need.

Also take a look at the new JP WizBlades at wizardmod.com which are also very close to JP LE blades (color scheme and tone) as the Retro and PinGraffix ones are. They are well made from a thicker material and very easy to install.

I used a modified DRY method (removed the backing from JUST the mid section of the blades that are 'between' the playfield when lifted, and the cabinet side. ) Then by hand, I slide the entire blade into approximate place and then carefully position the blades in exactly the right place, making sure not to touch the exposed section. Then once in perfect alignment, press down the blade near the playfield where the backing is missing. Once that section is in place and adhered, then peel the remaining front and back of the blade backing and carefully lay it down working from the mid section to each end. Hard rubber roller the whole thing to make sure it all sticks.

Just got my JP (Prem) with those art blades preinstalled. Graphics look great IMO. The foreground images & the electric fence are the main reason. Also, the overall colours blend well with the pf. Hope the pic’s help others decide too.
