    Asset
    a useful or valuable thing, person, or quality.

    Definition of economic goods:
    A consumable item that is useful to people but scarce in relation to its demand, so that human effort is required to obtain it.

    For Tax purposes they are Assets. For insurance replacement purposes they are assets.
