Hi guys, tinkering around with the idea of powder coating my standard Woz. Are the side rails glued or taped on in some way? Wondering if I would have to buy new rails, or if the existing would come off ok?
Thanks for the tips

Quoted from Pinballomatic:Similar in difficulty to WMS cabinets BUT beware if you have a direct print WOZ cabinet the heat will discolor the paint! IMHO it may not be worth doing. It's not like you can easily replace the damage like a decal.
What heat? You don't need heat. Get a putty knife and push it in every half knife width all along the rail and them remove the rail screws and it comes right off. Takes about 2 min per side.
Don't change it.
You have a beautiful and unique game. I think the standard is just as nice looking as the ECLE and RR.
I would consider a matching coin door for the rest of the steel trim.
Quoted from tatman9999:I did my WOZ and they come off easy. JJP only used 3 small pieces of double sided tape. I used a putty knife.
This is what I was hoping to hear. I am such a sucker for the emerald green. I bought a guitar that colour 10 years ago and still really dig the deep emerald green. It does look nice now, but I'm itching for a project Maybe I should just rush out and buy a new dialed in instead. Anybody got 9k I can borrow? I'm good for it. Lol
Maybe some sort of lamination paper would work? Just stick it on the rails, trim it, and call it a day?
