Just thinking are they legal - Tried looking on the net with no luck.

Is it legal to make one and load 200+ games on it?
Is it legal to place it on a locaion after building?
Is it legal to sell one with games loaded on it?

Just anything really - I know state by state may be different and country by counrty but and info is better then none.

Same rules apply as with Mame. Roms belong to the game companies, as well as the licenses. There are also secondary licenses that belong to the original owners.

To answer your questions as best as I can:

    Legal to make one? yes

Load 200 games on it? Most, are not legal. Nobody really enforces it... yet. There are some fan made ones that are legal.

Legal to sell one with games on it? No

Legal to put on location after building? No

Hyperpin is a frontend- Can not be used it for commercial use.

If you want to use one for commercial use, you can get an Ultrapin. They have licensed pins on them. They kind of started the whole thing, but look primitive to what is out there now.
