    there are some collectors who like different eras
    some like old flipperless games, short flipper games, long flipper EMs, early solid state, alpha numeric, early DMD, deep DMD and now LCD

    collectors of the last two categories are like junkies after a sugar fix, loud and brash, opinions on everything and cannot wait for the next shiney toy
    these are the people most likely to be the people who rate the games
    the other groups know their machines are great, keep quiet and just enjoy the hobby
