When there are gaps, the human mind fills in the gaps. Look at how many time people here post looking for their favorite game from way back when, realize it was something completely different.
It will always come down to provenance. Photos or articles in newspaper or magazine from there and then. And a game like Pinball Circus would have had pictures taken by someone.
Williams only tested one game, on the street, in Chicago. Their people and records showed that.

I believe WMS used the the same T2 shooter game cabinet for Pinball Circus? Maybe you remember the cabinet, but not the actual game?
