I wouldn't mind knowing how many of these are out there.
Over 20, Under 20?

Quoted from Robotoes:

Love that game,

Yeah, early multi-ball.
I knew it was pretty rare when I first got
it in, but kinda finding out much more than
what I first thought..

Quoted from Darcy:

Over 20, easily. Less than 40 very possibly.

That seems like a reasonable and very possibly an accurate (or at least
pretty close) estimated answer..
But now this one I can say there's less than 20, but what I have wondered
if all woodrail Flippers were sample machines. This one 100% is. Notice the
Gottlieb playfield logo being white and orange as woodrails prior. Metal
Flippers logo is all white like Wedge Heads after. I have seen a pic of a woodrail
Flipper having an all white logo. Maybe a Flipper woodrail, maybe a regular woodrail with
a metal rail Flipper playfield. I have always figure all woodrail Flippers were Sample
machines, but I'm not really sure. I also have been told of another original woodrail
Flipper that does not have the "As American as Baseball and Hot Dogs" slogan on
the backglass as this one has along with some prior woodrails, which makes me think
maybe not all woodrail Flippers were Samples..

I would be willing to bet there might be >100.

Maybe, but I know of a few collectors that's been looking quite I while,
no luck yet..
How about this U.S. version. Over 20, under 20?

but feel that pin is truly much rarer than say Star Jet

Oh yes, that is a sure thing (even if S.J. was under 20) and I would be very much
surprised if it's not more rare than the woodrail Flipper..

Quoted from pinwiztom:

I have never come across a Hyde Park in the wild myself,

This was a test sample machine, so I'm pretty sure they're pretty limited,
and even the Italian version (has backglass Italian writing) I never see pop
up. Someone did post that they had a populated playfield for this game and
appears to be the U.S. version..

Quoted from RA77:I know there is a nice one downunder

Mine is nice, but missing paint on some of the cab. Yours looks really
nice all around!
I do have another that needs much work, but certainly doable, so that's
3 of them amoung only 2, so looks like the 100 plus may be accurate. I
have pics of the head someplace. Same thing, pretty much complete, and
the cab. full of stickers..

Quoted from littlecammi:

It looks like it traveled around a lot and someone used that cab as a passport.

That it does. Almost wall to wall stickers, but that's the first I got in
and it had a nice playfield. I was later fortunate to trade in one with
an original cabinet. With the two, ended up with one that's pretty
decent..

Quoted from CaptainNeo:

Some of us are spoiled by seeing these gems often because the locals own them.

Yeah, but you have to remember, that's a rare spoiled..

Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

Is this the one you picked up a few months ago or did you snag a SECOND Cue???

Being primarily into EMs, I had to look this one up, and 6 produced. Confirmed. That's Limited!

A couple months back I had the glass made for the 1956 Williams Fun House.
I've been told the VFW has one, but that's the only other I've heard about..

Quoted from DanQverymuch:

Two player add-a-ball!

I know Gottlieb and Chicago Coin have 2 player true AABs, but I think this is the first I heard
of Williams having one. Pics would be interesting to check out..

Quoted from DanQverymuch:

which burns off the extra balls indicated by stars on the backglass.

Sounds similar to a Gootlieb true "Wow" machine (Bank Shot, Ship Ahoy, Team One, ect.)
Are there 5 Stars on the backglass? I'd find it interesting to go through that machine..
