Looks like it's based on Escape from New York possibly? Snake Blisken? The guy on the backglass has a likeness to Kurt Russell, and even has a snake tattooed on his left arm.

Didn't see the film until quite some years later, when it was on TV, I thought it was quite enjoyable, but then I like bad sci-fi and fantasy movies.
My buddy who lives somewhat local to me has one of the Krull machines. I’ve been trying to talk him into selling it to me for a few years. No luck. The movie looks cheesy now when you watch it by today’s standards and effects, but back when I was a kid I thought it was awesome. Coolest looking “Chinese star” ever.
