Quoted from thedefog:

Good thing they scrapped this. Looks like a total PITA. How the hell would glass even go over the PF? Amazing it got as far as it did. It makes me angry just looking at it because it is so stupid from an engineering standpoint.

How can you say that? There are a ton of shots to make on that game...

Quoted from Gundam_Pilot_:

Apple Time: ThunderMan. Not a mainstream game but still extremely uncommon. Only know of 3 in collectors hands.

Quoted from Whysnow:

looks like a cool game. Any idea if it is based on something else? I know many times these oddball ones are borrowed form other designs

Looks like it's based on Escape from New York possibly? Snake Blisken? The guy on the backglass has a likeness to Kurt Russell, and even has a snake tattooed on his left arm.

I had a want ad for one of these before that was up for quite some time...but no luck. I still want one really bad. When I posted the ad, even tigerlaw had to add it to the database on here. Only 10 made. (Photos courtesy of IPDB)

Love that io moon Neo!

Quoted from CaptainNeo:

me too. It's way more awesome than I even thought.

Holy shit!!! Never saw any of those before. I'll take a package deal on Spooky, Miss World and IO Moon. Spooky can come first if you're not ready to move the other two.

That would be cool to have in your line up. Same could be said for pretty much every game in this thread.

Quoted from Mels:

I know one of the Krull machines made it here to the UK, back in the 80's. The owner of the arcade it was in bought it and a few other machines used in some expo. I played it loads, although mainly because it was easy to keep the ball in play on the upper and lower tables, so my 10p would last a very long time.
Didn't see the film until quite some years later, when it was on TV, I thought it was quite enjoyable, but then I like bad sci-fi and fantasy movies.

My buddy who lives somewhat local to me has one of the Krull machines. I’ve been trying to talk him into selling it to me for a few years. No luck. The movie looks cheesy now when you watch it by today’s standards and effects, but back when I was a kid I thought it was awesome. Coolest looking “Chinese star” ever.
