I think Tron LE was the exception with only the first 50 of 400 signed.

In an interview SR talked about starting each day with the gold pen signing a stack of playfields. He wanted to be sure we knew he signed each one personally. It wasn't some type of graphic or machine printed signature.

Personally I don't like the signature position or size they choose. I'd rather it was out of sight or smaller with a finer pen. Kinda spoils the artwork.
