I’ve been rewatching Archer for the severalth time and noticed a pin in the background of this scene. Pins in the background of cartoons lately have been hilarious little jokes, Bob’s Burgers had a ‘Manchester by the Sea’ themed pin in the arcade heist episode, which I find particularly ludicrous, and Solar Opposites had both ‘Boondock Saints’ and ‘Entourage’ themes in the toxic man-cave episode. But I really appreciated this one because it appeared for maybe two seconds and it took me several attempts to try and pause it just right, but the theme is the “movie” Disavowed that is a reference to a few seasons prior where a famous actress was also a Russian Sleeper agent.

Such a tiny little detail and the thought process behind it was absolutely brilliant. Gotta assume there are some pinheads somewhere in the creative mix on these shows.
