I am going to be in KC this Tuesday/Wednesday with the wife and was wondering if there were any arcades worth visiting up there. Would like to find some pinball to play but a classic arcade with classic games would be nice too. We will be staying near the Kansas Speedway in Kansas, so anything downtown or to the west would be preferable.

    Thanks.

Stangbat runs some pins at pizza west.

Pizza West where I have my games is about 15 minutes to the south.

    403 Club is in KCKS.

I'm not aware of any classic type arcades.

For pinball Stangbat links are the best. But for an actual arcade, you need to check out Screenlands Crossroads. There arcade has over 40 video games, No pinball tho!

Yup, good place to go to, despite the fact there are no pins. Most of the arcade games there are from the early 80's.

Pizza West is the best for Pinball, you will also be close to a D&B.

Tell Dave and Cory you are a pinhead. They love pinball too.

Had a blast at Pizza West today. Great pizza and great pins! I got to meet stangbat as well, who seemed like a great guy. His pins are in fantastic shape especially being on location. There isn't a public pin as nice as any of those with the entire city of Springfield.

I will definitely be back next time I am up here. Only got through about $10 before the wife was done with her pedicure she was getting next door. That afforded me a lot of play though with very reasonable play prices and attainable replay values.

    Thanks again for the recommendation!

The 403 club kicks ass (go there almost every time I'm in KC for work), very low key, but clean and super nice people working there (plus a good mix of regulars that like to shoot the chit with everyone).

    Eric-

I am coming to Overland Park for a soccer tournament on April 5 - 7th. I was thinking of stopping by pizza west.

Let me know if by chance you will be around.
