I picked one of these up and was real disappointed before the patch. The lag, etc. I also reseated a couple connectors but that was kind of a pain.

But it’s better, and I can live with it. One day maybe I’ll look to optimize it further. Change out the monitor and try and improve the graphics without slowing the game down.

Never was really interested in virtual pinball, but with the cabinet and everything I do see the appeal, and how a fully realized kit could be a blast.

Does the mystery coder stuff improve the software (gameplay) of the base Arvade1up pinball? I’m not all that happy with the resolution or lag in mine (Williams package).

    Quoted from jonnyqtrek:

The updated A1Up firmware for the Williams package (which once you've downloaded can be installed using the ME installer) is what improves the lag over stock. And yes, it lets you toggle between standard res and... 1080p, I believe.

I updated the Arcade1Up firmware, and there’s still more lag than I prefer. Oh well.

I’m too lazy to upgrade mine to get rid of the lag. Anyone want to buy one that’s like new in northwest NYC suburbs?
