See you guys tommorow. Can’t wait
If anyone coming today has a set of Evel Knievel CPR plastics for sale they could bring let me know. I’m bringing a friend who could use them for his restore. Thanks
I had a great time last night. The tech's were on top of everything! It was great to meet and talk with fellow Pinsiders. I destroyed one of the JJPOTC's; so gave the rest of you something to try and do all weekend and beat my GC - 1 Mil That pin gets my vote for best new game in the past 6 mos. Someone even said to me, 'cant get enough of this game can you?' LOL, nope - but then I realized it was 9pm and I had to get home to wife and kids. Had a great time. Thanks all involved and who volunteered. I won't make sat & sun. Hope to make it again to whenever the next even is out there. Always a great time and so many pins in great shape!
I have an extra Saturday pass that’s not going to be used that I’ll sell someone at a huge discount. Let me know.

PM sent.
Quoted from Buzz:Finally made it. Say hi I'm the Beard King guy
Big crowds this year... so much so that it was tough to get any time on the most popular games.
I had a great time and would like to say thank you to all that made this show possible. It is very fun...way more crowded this time around though so a lot longer lines to play.
I went last minute on Friday and it was awesome! My only complaint was the trip was supposed to take about 4 hrs and took 6 hrs because I left latter than planned and So Cal traffic is not forgiving. My bad. So, I got there about 7pm Friday night and had until 11 before closing time. Man, still had a great time! Hardly any wait time for the newest games, DI, JJPPOTC, Houdini, TNA, etc. My first time playing all of them, and good times for sure!
Even got high score 1 on Houdini on my first time playing, haha, beginners luck. Great game! JJPPOTC was fun, but wasn't expecting that big opening on the right side of the upper playfield and never made the cannon shot. Got a couple of small ball hang ups on the top of the ramp from the upper playfield exit. Dialed In first time playing was really great! TNA lived up to expectations and glad to be able to play it finally.
Being able to see a Magic Girl in person was a treat, but was surprised to see it behind glass in a special room and couldn't get too close. Not a big deal, and understandable from owner perspective, but would have liked to see a bit closer. Thanks for making it available to at least see in person!
I've been to every Arcade Expo show and this was the best so far. Drove 10 hours in one day and was at the show for about 4 hrs and still left happy.
Every game I played was in great condition! Techs working to fix any issues and wide variety and selection of games was great....even got to play Dominos (hmm, yeah, not that great but super happy to be able to see and play in person!).
Minor complaint - need some more parking lot lighting - it's really dark out there with no lights! Also, maybe a small discount for arriving so late would be nice.
I feel very fortunate to be able to visit all the 3 main Calif shows (Arcade Expo, Pin-A-GoGo (soon to be Lodi show) and Calif Extreme and this is by far the best venue and games!
I just wish you were able to open more often.
Thanks!!
I've been to the Banning location quite a few times now, and what I usually do now is leave for the show very late Thursday night arriving at the hotel around 11:30pm, then play all day Friday and leave very late Friday. I find this has worked best for me as it means no traffic at all coming and going, and the show is far less packed on Friday so I can play everything easily. Side bonus is that the hotel rooms are far cheaper for a Thursday night stay, I paid around $134 for a night at Morongo casino using AAA discount and gorged on their buffet.
Enjoyed the show immensely like always, I think TNA was the standout game for me this time. What a cool game, nice blend of old and new, definitely has a presence. Houdini was neat as well and was likewise surprised by Dialed In, another cool game. Kinda glad I'm out of room otherwise I'd be trying to buy more games.
I had a fine day Saturday.
It was great to see so many great people. I personally had a bad day physically but that was because of my brain surgery and stroke issues. Things will never be right in this category I'm afraid...
But the distraction of Banning. So nice.
it just keeps getting better and better. I wish the place was just open every weekend.
I played a super clean Comet. It was well maintained. As well as playing many others.
I played this one game, Veronika did not like it. I however found things I liked about it. I played it more. It was an oddball.
I wanted to spend more time in the arcade area which was very busy, but even though outside it was fifty. Inside that arcade area was hot.
I wanted to suggest big ass fans for that room in particular. ( Picture attached.)
I was late so I couldn't play in the pinball tourney, but that's ok. I was able to play more games. And meet more people. Until golden state!
Had a good time. the JJP and AP games had lines but not horrible. If you really wanted to spend some time on it to make a purchasing decision , yeah could see that being frustrating. TNA was the one my non pinball friend liked the most.
Surprised at the crowds around the many copies of star wars that were brought in. Goes to show how much theme matters. AFMR played good, to bright almost
Loved the magic girl poster
I had a good time on Saturday. It was very cool to see so many people show up and so many families there. I strongly believe that pinball will survive after seeing the amount of people there. I didn't get to play as much as I would have liked because of the crowds but glad that it looked like a success. Always the best to meet new people.
Quoted from ctozzi:I’ll be there next year for sure. Looks like a great show to make the drive from vegas for.
Easy drive from Vegas. And less traffic than L.A. It wasn't hard to spend 8+ hours there playing the games. The EMs and '80s pins are in great supply too with a lot fewer people around them than the '90s and 2000s ones. Classic Sterns, Bally, Williams, etc. are all there. And if you get tired of the pins you can take a break and play one if the 500+ video games.
Plus now there's a reason to make a pit stop in Yermo.
Yesterday was a great time, thanks to everyone that made it happen. One game I never gave a second glance to was Lasercue. The one in the tournament area looked like a huo out of the box condition looking and playing game. I couldn’t stop playing it
The other thing I wanted to say was I saw jersey Jack being an all around cool guy to many others.
The video game area is busy as heck.
This was and is a great show.
The Batman 66 demo has now taken residence under my roof. My thanks to the 528 players who treated it with such care during the Expo.
I would like to say thank you to all the amazing techs, volunteers, organizers and especially to my father John Weeks. He is always so busy making sure people have a great time and works really hard. Thank you to Chuck and Tom V and all the preparation to make AE 4.0 the best yet. Thank you to the arcade techs Morty and Joe you were amazing! Our onsite engineer Wayne (Poodle) thank you! It really takes a village to make this event happen so thank you to everyone who was involved.
We read all the suggestions and value the opinions on how to make the show better each year. As always it was a blast hosting all the guest and we truly hope you had a great time. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon and also at Arcade Expo 5.0!
