I did a quick check but I never saw a topic for the new arcade 1up AFM.

It looks pretty nice. It is licensed through Zen so the pf is animated.

A few notes
Available Q3/Q4 2020

Target price of $500

Haptic feedback with nudge

Included a dmd - if it is a lcd they really made it look like a dmd.

Chrome plated legs but the bezel looks to stainless.

That's some epic glare in there, lol. Maybe they should make it 900 and include the invisiglass.

The glare was real... I actually tried to get some decent photos of the pf. It was very bright where it was located, but it was hard to see the pf

I saw (and remember) that one but it seemed to focus on the Star Wars pin. Interestingly, Arcade 1up seems to be pushing the Star Ward table harder than AFM.

Beware that silly lockdown bar, those corners will send the player away in about 3 minutes of play

Otherwise the polish looks nice, the coin door plastic on the front is a nice touch, the glare is yikes, the t molding is a good touch

I remember seeing an adjusted game list. Where they pulled funhouse and added whitewater. Does anyone have the new updated list?

Really looking forward to this. Their other ones are slated to ship 2/8, and this isn't even on their site for pre-order yet. I will be first in line for this along with Atgames legends (which I have a pre-pre-order for).

Pre-orders open now at BestBuy (so I saw).

Happened to be up at 2am last night and locked in a pre-order. Down the rabbit hole I go.

good pick on games. great pick for the cabinet and lead game. you can't go wrong with that.

I am assuming that all of the games come preloaded? Right? I'd be pretty disappointed to find out the rest of the games are downloadable content for a fee.

i believe they do. looking at the photos, the game is very small though. it's a 50/50 vs the legends vp. that one has better potential down the road to add games on and is larger, but the 1up has better games now.

Just got it 2 days ago. Haptics with the flippers feel like an EM, plays very fast. Most of the games on it play pretty well and you forget the play field is small and the screen is 720p. There's screen tearing, but that can be fixed by replacing the plexi with glass. Menu navigation is better than the Atgames. There's no wifi or leaderboards. Went together easy too. Legs went on easy. The lineup is stellar, although White Water has serious lag issues and is unplayable. It's not perfect, but I'm overall happy with it. I'll still go to SS Billiards and play MM and AFM remakes. It's a good value for $600 and doesn't take up much space. Not as sexy as the Atgames one, but close. I've played all the games on it on location but Hurricane and TotAN, and they are all very faithful to the originals. There is slight noticeable flipper lag, but it's in Milliseconds, you barely notice it. Nudging doesn't work all that great, but I'm a Novice and don't do it much.

Make sure you hold onto it... apparently they sold out. They sold out before I even seen them go up for sale!
