Only joking- that show was done ages ago.
Azaria confirms no longer will be Apu. Apu hadn’t been on show for years, show hasn’t been funny for years, but why even do the show anymore? If we can’t laugh at ourselves(are Americans of Indian decent Americans?) why make comedies anymore? I am of Asian Indian decent.
What next- women can’t pretend to be prepubescent boys? Is Homer Italian? Let’s get the Feds

Haha you got me! I was coming in a blazin'

Surprised it took this long. All store owners around me have always been Chaldean so they should get a new character like that.

As for what's next yes, Asian stereotypes will be the focus.

No longer can Homer bring work home with him, radioactive isotope bars that fell in his pocket. Working at home insults non-working people living there. Nevermind that it puts his family at a toxic risk...

Let's see if this one can make it five pages before it gets shut down too.

The gauntlet has been thrown. It will be a true test of what remains of the passion for all things Simpson.

Fox network is dying just like The Simpsons. Hanging onto shows that should have been canceled years ago, because they have had very little worthwhile new material in ages. CBS is 20 times the over the air network they are now. Seth MacFarlane's departure might be the final deathblow.

    RIP

Very true. Brooklyn 99 was a decent show and they dropped that quick.
It would appear now that maybe the Simpsons pursued the Apu dialogue to stay relevant. Nobody talked about anything the Simpsons did in years. MacFarlane has gotten away with Family Guy forever- how?
Pretty soon it will be all Bachelor shows and singing comps. Maybe Ricky Gervais will take over the Simpsons. Who am I kidding, he’ll probably never work again.

Forgot about all those singing and bachelor shows. lol. Surely someday the other half of America will be sick of those just like the first half. Don't really care for Fox coverage of sporting events either where they act like they are more important than the events they cover. Fox news is one of the reasons MacFarlane could not hang. Sunday night has turned into animation abomination. Don't watch any of it anymore.
