I'm offended by hate, and by anyone being offended by anything else.

Sgt. Hulka for president!

Remember when tolerance was a good thing?

Quoted from IdahoRealtor:

I think you need to look up the definition of racist.

Yeah, I don't know exactly how stereotypical humor or simply being amused by it automatically equates to discrimination, prejudice or supremacy. It's denying our evolution to think our brains are not on alert when we are confronted with people who are different than we are used to. Humor is how civilized people have adapted to dealing with all that, instead of automatic fear and hatred. However, I concur that it's not civilized to throw "Thank you, come again" in an Indian immigrant's face. If it makes someone feel bad, why do it?

Interesting how it's hilarious when a black comic does a white guy imitation, though!

"Analyzing humor is like dissecting a frog. Few people are interested and the frog dies of it." - E. B. White

Hank Azaria's new show, Brockmire, has him playing a stereotypical drunken sports announcer. I'm sure sports announcers everywhere feel demeaned and saddened. But he does get to hang around with Amanda Peet, so I don't think he'll want to step off from that gig.

Also, in case no one noticed, the Simpsons are yellow...

Quoted from Sinestro:

I still laugh at the show. This whole "downhill quality" thing is something I don't get.

People like to try and feel important by denigrating things other people like. Nothing new there.

Hmmm, what deals are on the McDonald's app this week?

Quoted from practicalsteve:

It’s at LEAST nine years old according to urban dictionary.

Is it October 26th already? Man, summers go fast.

Quoted from practicalsteve:

You realize my point was that an instance of the term “casual racism” was used as long ago as oct 26th in the year 2009 in response to someone saying it must be a new term.

You realize that 10/26/2009 is less than nine whole years ago. No alternative facts are allowed in mathematics. Your saying "at LEAST" was the issue, if you hadn't added that qualifier I would have been fine with the rounding.
