I sandblasted and repainted my apron and I want to protect the paint in the areas where the ball makes contact. I was thinking about using
    Clear Self-Adhesive Book Cover.

Not sure if people here have good experience with using this on a apron.

Keen to hear from experiences and open to other suggestions.

I still have to spray paint the cabinet with acrylic automotive clear.. I will use this then on the apron as well.
