So I got a Centaur backglass, and commissioned a backbox to go around it, to hang on the wall. Lights come later.

Quick question: What paint(brush or spray) should I buy that's closest to Centaur's black color? Gloss? Semi gloss? Something else?

    Quoted from Steve_in_Escalon:

Have you considered replicating some of the cabinet graphics?

I agree that semi gloss black is a close match.

Just looked at the graphics again, and wow, they are as metal as all could be. \m/

But with the way the backbox is made, it's not an exact match, real-estate wise. It's not as thick, which reduces weight & makes it easier to mount on a wall. In fact, the hooks are right there.

One thing I am considering is getting a piece of cardboard or foam core to cut holes in, mount underneath, setup some lights & just plug it into the wall.
