    Quoted from Karl_Hungus:

Has anyone used Rapid Tac on clear mylar for flipper button guards? Any concerns using it to apply over the cabinet decals or clouding the clear mylar?

Seems completely unnecessary. Simply use wax on the surface to give you a safety to remove the mylar in the future. Your placement will be fine. Use a xacto blade to trim the hole after applying.
