Back in the 80s I won a logo design contest sponsored by the city. The prize was supposed to be an Apple II. When I got to the award presentation I found out that they had switched it to a Trash-80 CoCo (the then brand new 64k TRS-80 Color Computer 2 as I recall). Boy, I was pissed! I can only imagine what the mayor must have thought: 'Gee, this guy just won a free computer. Why does he look so mad?' I have to admit, the Tandy was a nice upgrade over the Vic-20 I was still using at the time. I did eventually get a IIe and even a IIGS, but by then the Mac was out and that was all I really cared about.
